About This Campaign
“Let us be just, charitable and good...let us pull together and pull hard, but above all things let there be no doubt that we are pulling right.” ~ James Ward Wood, 1866
By Pulling Together for KA, you are supporting scholarships and grants for brothers in financial need.
Over $175,000 in scholarships and COVID relief grants were awarded to brothers in need this past year. As the cost of higher education continues to increase, we must keep pace and meet the growing needs of our brothers. Providing much-needed financial support to help them fulfill their dreams of a college degree is critical to KA’s success.
By Pulling Together for KA, you are helping brothers get a leg up in their careers by increasing the number of opportunities available through the E. Fleming Mason Memorial Internship.
This program has grown from 5 internships in Washington, DC to 15 internships in Washington, DC; Atlanta, GA and Dallas, TX. We must continue to grow this program as a more competitive job market makes having internship experience more and more crucial for graduating brothers. Expanding this opportunity for members to engage with successful alumni and gain valuable work experiences each and every summer is necessary.
By Pulling Together for KA, you are providing brothers with values-based leadership education opportunities.
Preparing our young men to lead with strong character and values enables them to be better leaders not only in their local chapters, but also in their local communities and in their professional careers. No where else on a college campus can replicate the opportunity learn, grow and gain strong leadership skills.
By Pulling Together for KA, you are making a difference in the lives of our undergraduate brothers.
For 156 years, KA has proven time and again that when we all PULL TOGETHER, we can do incredible things. Our members achieved a 3.21? GPA in spring of 2021, they are leaders on their respective campuses contributing ??? hours of community service to local philanthropies and stepping into leadership roles across other campus organizations. KA is proving we are an accelerator for success in college and beyond !
You should be proud of having made these opportunities available, and today, the 156th anniversary of our founding, is a great day to celebrate those accomplishments.
But we can and must do more. Your support is crucial in these difficult times. Only through your investment can we ensure that these goals are met and our brothers receive the support they need right now. Join us as we PULL TOGETHER for KA!
